Throughout March, we have been travelling the length and width of North America, showcasing our mineral processing equipment at AGG1 in Houston and hearing the latest mining industry updates at PDAC in Toronto.
AGG1: The Aggregates Industry’s Leading Expo And Educational Event
For the second consecutive year, we attended the NSSGA’s AGG1 Expo. This year’s expo took place in Houston, Texas and was visited by aggregate industry professionals and mineral processing companies from over 50 countries.
We had an array of people at our booth finding out about the mineral processing equipment we were exhibiting. On show were:
- the 4’ x 12’ Huck Bolt Screen,
- the Sepro Blackhawk Cone Crusher,
- the 2’ x 4’ Sepro Scrubber (live) model
- and our sister company, Canamix’s, High Efficiency Asphalt Mixer.
Our booth visitors were impressed by our equipment’s intelligent features such as the Huck Bolt Screen’s low energy consuming vibrating motors that deliver high ‘G’ force vibration directly to the screening surface.
Over 8300 people came to the show over the three days. Joel Galassini, chair of AGG1 Academy & Expo chair said, “These outstanding numbers emphasize the value of the convention and AGG1. This really is the best time for anyone in our industry to connect with peers, examine business issues that affect our operations and get energized for the future”.
PDAC: A Roundup Of 2018’s Biggest Mineral Exploration Event
Over on the east coast, our team attended PDAC 2018 in Toronto, Ontario. The convention had the highest attendance since 2013. PDAC president, Glenn Mullan said “After experiencing several years of economic challenges, today the mineral exploration and mining industry is experiencing a renaissance and renewed sense of confidence.”
We also believe both Glenn Mullans’, and Joel Galassini from AGG1’s, comments to be correct. With lots of developments in mineral processing equipment over recent years, aggregate and mining operations are now able to run at the highest levels of efficiency. The ground-breaking technology in one of our newest products, the Blackhawk100 Cone Crusher, is a prime example of this. Sepro is continually investing in research to help produce products that are supporting the growth of this industry’s major aggregate and mining operations.
Sepro Mineral Systems will also be attending a range of other mining and aggregate events and expos across the globe over the coming months. You can keep up-to-date on where we’ll be and the latest industry news on our website, in our email newsletter as well as on Facebook and LinkedIn.
If you’d like to discuss how the Blackhawk Cone Crusher, Canamix Asphalt Mixing Vertical Tank or any of our mineral processing equipment, could be integrated into your operation call our Canada office on +(1) 604.888.5568.
