Russian news outlet, Madagan STRC has posted a video on the installation of Falcon Gravity Concentrators at the Rudnik Imeni Matrosova Gold Processing Plant.

English Translation:

Compact sized Canadian Falcon Semi-Batch Gravity Concentrators were purchased for 3 million rubles for installation at Rudnik Imeni Matrosova Gold Processing Plant.

The Falcon Gravity Concentrators will be used for the additional recovery of gold; the average content of precious metals in ore is low, approximately 2 grams per tonne.

Overall, the reserves at the deposit site, Natalka, are currently estimated at more than 500 tonnes.

RIM is one of the few companies in Russia, which will be operating a gravity only circuit. Operations involving the newly installed Falcon Gravity Concentrators began in June 2015.

Vice president of JSC “RIM” – Igor Petrovich:

“According to our data, we expect to increase the second stage of recovery by 7-8%, which means if, at present, we reach 65% during 1st stage of gravity, then the additional 8% will allow us to achieve 72-75% of recovery”.
